A leading facilities management company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to manage operations at various BC Hydro sites in Northern BC. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in facilities management, strong supervisory and problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities include site supervision, staff coordination, and compliance with safety policies. A competitive salary range of $75,000-$85,000 is offered.
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the onsite operations and maintenance of various BC Hydro facilities in Northern BC from Williams Lake to Fort Nelson. This position will be responsible for ensuring building inspections, preventive maintenance and work orders are being completed and corrective work orders are being created for repairs to structures and grounds. They will also oversee and verify work performed by staff and suppliers is completed safely and efficiently and is coordinated to minimize impact on operations.
This position will support the delivery of the recently awarded BC Hydro Facilities Management Services Agreement. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of BC Hydro’s facilities across the designated region in British Columbia. The successful candidate will provide field-based oversight, supervision, and coordination of facilities management (FM) activities, working closely with site leadership, suppliers, and BC Hydro internal teams to maintain asset integrity and to ensure timely response to incidents and emergencies. The expected salary range for this role is between $75,000-85,000. The starting salary will be based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education and experience. Salary is one component of Black & McDonald’s total rewards package.
