Summary

As a Facilities Manager, you will cascade department strategy through the establishment of team and individual objectives performed by self, subordinates, and supporting all staff within the assigned budget. Lead by example to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Embrace and promote company core values to establish and maintain a culture committed to ethical practices, legal compliance, and a union-free environment. Lead efforts in developing yourself and others to ensure a knowledgeable and skilled workforce is prepared to overcome current and future challenges. Support the facilities team by managing subordinates and maintaining the MOBIS facility HVAC, electrical, lighting, painting, and other facility issues.

ABOUT MOBIS NORTH AMERICA ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN, LLC

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, vital parts for producing electric vehicles, based on state-of-the-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.

Essential Functions

  • Create interior design floor plans, including office design.
  • Create blueprints for security installation.
  • Responsible for all upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of company facilities and grounds.
  • Supervise, direct, and develop a team of Facilities Maintenance subordinates.
  • Serve as project lead and coordinator for all construction projects.
  • Monitor and review downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and 3R5S for each site.
  • Interact with outside agencies and service providers to contract services and maintain compliance regulations.
  • Create and maintain a complete preventative maintenance plan, including records of work/testing and parts/materials ordering.
  • Develop and manage the facility work order system and assign tasks accordingly.
  • Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program to reduce costs and liabilities.
  • Train new team members in the Facilities Maintenance Department on their duties and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate landscaping services and monitor contracts for plant changeouts and routine maintenance year-round.
  • Coordinate janitorial and facility maintenance services.
  • Prepare reports, analysis, resolutions, and projected costs related to departmental activities.
  • Review all invoices for accuracy and processing.
  • Travel as needed to visit sites.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required for this position.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Management, or related field. High School Diploma required; AA/AS preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

Experience:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Project management experience in the facility and construction field.
  • Ability to use standard hand and power tools and practices of various trades such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fabrication, HVAC, and welding.
  • Multi-site experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions in mechanical and building trades.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Equivalent certifications and 5+ years of facility maintenance experience.
  • Certifications such as Certified Technician, Electrician, HVAC/EPA, Welding/Fabrication, Project Management, or similar.
  • Valid driver's license.
