Job Description

The Facilities Manager ensures the efficiency, safety, and good working conditions of all facilities at an Eataly location. Reports to the Director of Store Operations and oversees Facilities and Support team members.

1. Manage team members: hire, schedule, train, motivate, process payroll, and discipline as necessary
2. Ensure efficiency and good working conditions of multiple facilities, including walk-ins, refrigerators, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning services, and off-site storage
3. Maintain accurate records of facilities conditions and create regular housekeeping schedules
4. Guarantee clean and sanitary conditions in accordance with regulations
5. Assess the condition of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other essential facilities to anticipate needs and resolve issues
6. Ensure building safety from hazards like fire and flood
7. Oversee inventory and vendor relationships
8. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a Housekeeping, Facilities, or Custodial Supervisor or Manager
• Experience managing a large team
• Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Mobility for 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
• Ability to withstand extreme temperatures
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certification
