As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a janitor to join our team in Port Alberni, BC.

Qualifications

Experience performing general janitorial and cleaning duties.
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
Ability to safely handle cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Strong attention to detail; reliable and punctual.
Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning of the building to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.
Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste materials.
Clean spills using appropriate equipment and procedures.
Perform minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
Monitor building condition and report major repair needs to management.
Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
