Job summary

Coulson Aviation in Port Alberni, BC, invites applications for a Crib Attendant. This full-time, on-site role keeps the hangar organized, ensuring tools and consumables are stocked and tracked for smooth operations.

You will issue items, monitor inventory, and uphold secure access to the tool crib while supporting safety and efficiency in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a tool crib, inventory, warehouse, stores, or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with inventory-control and record-keeping practices.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory-tracking systems.
• Physical ability to lift and carry materials, remain standing for extended periods, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees across the organization.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• A safety-focused and dependable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized tool crib, hangar, and surrounding work areas to support safe and efficient operations.
• Issue tools, equipment, and consumable materials to employees and accurately record their movement to prevent loss.
• Monitor consumable inventory levels, restock supplies, and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Ensure tools are properly controlled, stored, and maintained according to established schedules and procedures.
• Monitor access to the tool crib and help maintain the security of tools, equipment and inventory.
• Maintain key-control records for company vehicles and ground support equipment.
• Restock safety supplies including earplugs and safety glasses and other PPE.
• Monitor inventory stored in flammable-material cabinets and identify expired or soon-to-expire products.
• Transport time-sensitive aircraft parts as a courier during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.

As Coulson Aviation continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable and organized Crib Attendant to join our team in Port Alberni, BC. This full-time, onsite position plays an important role in keeping our hangar operating efficiently by ensuring tools, equipment, and consumables are properly controlled and readily available.
