Job summary

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver is hiring Food & Beverage Supervisors to manage day-to-day operations, guide front-line staff, and ensure a high-quality guest experience across Loggers' Grill, Beary Waffles, The Cabin, and related venues.

You will support the F&B Manager, supervise shifts in outdoor settings, and help implement programs that enhance service, food safety, and guest satisfaction, with competitive hourly wages and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a food & beverage venue.
• Experience with POS systems and RTP is preferred.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Must be of legal drinking age as supervising in licensed areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations at quick-serve locations.
• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in evaluating the guest dining experience and communicating ideas or concerns.
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver a total guest experience.
• Support safety, quality standards and efficient service during peak times.

We are searching for Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisors who are passionate about cuisine and enthusiastic about a total guest experience. You have a broad understanding of the day to day supervision of the Food & Beverage departments within the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park quick-serve locations which includes Loggers' Grill, Beary Waffles, and The Cabin. You help to ensure the best possible Food & Beverage experience for both Guests and Team Members at the park. In addition, you assist the Food & Beverage Manager in evaluating the value of the guest’s food & beverage experience and communicate any new ideas or concerns to assist in the development and implementation of Food & Beverage programs.

Job Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar Food & Beverage venue
• POS experience, knowledge of RTP system, an asset
• Food Safe Level II and Serving it Right certifications, an asset
• Must be of legal drinking age as supervising in licensed areas
• Can handle stressful situations and meet fluctuating and demanding needs
• Second Language is an asset

Considerations

The ideal candidate must be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions, as all our quick-serve venues are outdoors. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business. While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time, occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs, and occasionally may be required to lift & climb a step ladder or step stool.

The wage for this role is $23.56 per hour. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada. We are unable to support work permit applications.
