Job summary

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver is hiring Food & Beverage Supervisors to lead quick-serve venues like Loggers' Grill, Beary Waffles and The Cabin. You will supervise day-to-day operations, ensure outstanding guest experiences, and assist the F&B Manager with program development.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years supervisory experience in F&B, POS experience, Food Safe Level II, Serving It Right, and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather, including evenings and

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a similar Food & Beverage venue.
• POS experience, knowledge of RTP system is an asset.
• Food Safe Level II and Serving It Right certifications are assets.
• Must be of legal drinking age as supervising in licensed areas.
• Can handle stressful situations and meet fluctuating needs.
• Second language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of F&B departments within quick-serve venues (Loggers' Grill, Beary Waffles, The Cabin).
• Ensure the best possible F&B experience for guests and team members.
• Assist the F&B Manager in evaluating guest experience and contribute ideas for program development.

We are searching for Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisors who are passionate about cuisine and enthusiastic about a total guest experience. You have a broad understanding of the day to day supervision of the Food & Beverage departments within the Capilano Suspension Bridge Parkquick-serve locations which includes Loggers' Grill, Beary Waffles,and The Cabin. You help to ensure the best possible Food & Beverage experience for both Guests and Team Members at the park. In addition, you assist the Food & Beverage Manager in evaluating the value of the guest’s food & beverage experience and communicate any new ideas or concerns to assist in the development and implementation of Food & Beverage programs.

Considerations

The ideal candidate must be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions, as all our quick-serve venues are outdoors. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time, occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs, and occasionally may be required to lift & climb a step ladder or step stool.

The wage for this role is $23.56 per hour. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada. We are unable to support work permit applications.
