Job summary

Red Shores Race Track & Casino in Charlottetown, PEI is seeking an administrative support role for Food & Beverage. You will be the single point of contact for reservations, inquiries, and promotions, handling group bookings and event coordination with marketing support.

You will balance cash, maintain reservation lines, and help create promotional materials while ensuring excellent customer service and menu knowledge. Weekend/evening shifts apply.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' experience with administrative support.
  • Strong organizational, time management, planning and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in group business (catering) and banquet service.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Meet & exceed customer service standards.
  • Available to work Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights stating at 4pm.

Responsibilities

  • Single point of contact for reservation inquiries, including groups and events via call and online booking.
  • Maintain reservation line: messages, calls, bookings, special requests, and inquiries.
  • Point of contact for guest inquiries during OHW (reservations, information, promotions).
  • Prepare seating plan per reservations, staff schedule and special requests.
  • Support promotion of Food & Beverage events, functions, and marketing promotions.
  • Familiar with menus, specials and promotions to answer guest inquiries.
  • Assist in developing menu ideas and promotional materials with marketing.
  • Prepare summaries of customer service comment cards for management review.
  • Maintain online communications of F&B offerings for customers.
  • Create lunch-related materials: online content, flyers, menu design and table toppers.
  • Welcome guests at the Top of the Park during lunch, dinner, and events.
  • May cover after-hours and weekends.
  • Prepare meal cards and gift cards for customers and staff.
  • Balance cash received.

Job description

This position is to provide administrative support for Food & Beverage at RED SHORES while being the contact for guests and groups regarding reservations, promotions, events, feedback/comments, etc. This position will be responsible for the administrative tracking of customer service comments on their experience at RED SHORES. This information will be shared with management for statistics analysis on trends, covers and customer service feedback.
