Job summary

Kleysen Group in Winnipeg is seeking a Full-Time External Maintenance Coordinator to manage external shop maintenance and coordinate with drivers and vendors. The role is based in our Fleet Repair & Maintenance facility and involves negotiating rates and maintaining vendor lists.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge and background required.
• Industrial warehouse/retail parts experience preferred.
• Truck & Trailer parts and maintenance knowledge is an asset.
• Experience reviewing quotes and negotiating rates would be an asset.
• Administrative skills with attention to data entry and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Arrange external shop maintenance and repairs for equipment.

Job description

We are currently seeking to fill a Full-Time External Maintenance Coordinator role in our Fleet Repair & Maintenance facility office in Winnipeg.

The External Maintenance Coordinator, is responsible to make arrangements with external shops for equipment maintenance, assist drivers with breakdowns and on the road repairs, negotiating rates for parts/service, vetting and maintaining a list of shops/towing companies and providing back up for FRM office staff when coverage is needed due to absence among other duties and responsibilities. This position works in the Shop office and works closely with all external vendors & couriers related to parts/maintenance as well as internal customers within the company.

The shift will be Monday – Friday days, specific start/end times to be discussed at the interview stage.

• The successful candidate will require a reliable vehicle as our office is located outside of public transport.
