Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in cladding, siding, roofing, or general construction preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install exterior wall cladding systems according to project specifications and building codes.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fit cladding materials (metal, composite, vinyl, wood, fibre cement).
• Install flashing, trims, insulation, weather barriers, and waterproofing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and installation specs.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
• Perform inspections and repairs to existing cladding as required.
• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts with fall protection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
