Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. in Montreal, QC seeks an IT expert functional analyst to lead complex API requirements within an Agile environment. You will translate business needs into traceable functional requirements and validate them with stakeholders, coordinating with development teams.

Role requires strong analytical skills, bilingual communication, and VPNs across Canada. You will support testing, adapt to evolving tech, and drive effective solutions with autonomy and rigor.

Responsibilities

Here’s a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you’ll have :

Responsibilities

• Act as an IT expert functional analyst on complex APIs with synchronous and asynchronous exchanges;
• Understand and challenge business needs in order to convert them into functional requirements while ensuring the traceability of requirements;
• Write detailed functional analyses in an Agile context, aligning with the business needs and the architecture consulting solution;
• Validate functional analyses with business partners, present them to the development teams and confirm their proper implementation;
• Ensure communication with business partners throughout the different phases of development;
• Advise business partners by proposing alternative solutions and presenting the advantages and disadvantages of existing systems;
• Perform functional testing and support the testing team in the development and performance of acceptance testing;
• Perform diagnostics, coordinate problem resolution, and ensure that solutions work properly;
• Adapt to ever-changing technologies and propose new solution ideas with curiosity and boldness;
• Analyze impacts on solutions and recommend action plans for required adjustments;
• Master the technology ecosystem and understand the interrelationships between the different components.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in functional analysis in the delivery of large-scale projects;
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of complex IT concepts;
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and team spirit;
• Be goal-oriented and meet deadlines;
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies;
• Master the JIRA, Tempo and Confluence tools;
