Qualifications

Job description

A career as a Chief Functional Analyst at National Bank in the Wealth Management sector means working on a multidisciplinary team that manages and delivers business and technology projects related to Wealth Management and the Investment value chain. Your advanced knowledge of new technologies will allow you to optimize and improve our processes, translate requesters' requirements into technical requirements, and you will be in charge of improving, simplifying or optimizing operational problem-solving processes.

Your job
  • Advise partners and translate their needs into clear, traceable functional requirements
  • Draft and validate functional analyses, produce documentation (use cases, diagrams) and keep it up to date
  • Work with developers to design and integrate solutions into the existing environment
  • Perform functional tests, support acceptance tests and resolve technical problems
  • Define needs related to APIs (REST, SOAP), design integration flows and ensure consistency in discussions
  • Test, document and ensure governance of APIs (catalogue, versioning, security)

Prerequisites
  • Degree in IT or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience as a functional analyst (banking sector preferred)
  • Mastery of agile methodologies, writing user stories and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Knowledge of SQL and API concepts (REST, SOAP), HTTP protocols, authentication (OAuth, JWT)
  • Experience with API testing tools and documentation (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI) and application security concepts
  • Data integration skills, problem solving, autonomy and rigour
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to evolve in a constantly changing environment
