Job summary

Asset Inventories Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst Developer in Montréal, QC. The role involves developing features, making architectural decisions, coding, testing, and documentation while collaborating with US teams and stakeholders.

The position requires a strong background in finance-oriented software, Agile practices, TDD, and modern tech such as C#/.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, and CI/CD. On-site role with healthcare benefits and a compensation of CAD 500 to 550 per day.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business computing, CS, or computer engineering.
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong experience with complex information systems.
  • Fluent English (speaking and writing).
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and Scrum.
  • Organized, methodical, and analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL Server, C#/.NET Core, Angular, design patterns, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD).
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Montréal, QC before starting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and US partners regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features including coding, architecture decisions, testing, quality tracking, and documentation.
  • Present features to stakeholders and product owners to gather feedback.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprints, demos).
  • Deliver software meeting standards and provide operational support when needed.
  • Improve CI/CD practices and automate tasks.
  • Upgrade systems to ensure proper interfacing with industry securities referentials.
  • Act as analyst programmer on CDS migration project.
  • Foster collaboration and encourage participation in communities.
