Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is seeking an Experiences & Presentation Specialist to lead MLSE’s Activation Crew and shape fan activations, experiences and event presentation across hockey, basketball, football and soccer properties. You will design engaging programming, script runs of show, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver polished event moments.

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in event management, experiential marketing and team leadership with a focus on live event presentation, show calling and operational planning & execution.
Post-Secondary education or a certificate/diploma in event management or marketing.
Proficiency in office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with event technology and audiovisual equipment is an asset.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for event execution.
High level of comfort leading hockey, basketball, soccer and football properties.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, hire, train and lead MLSE’s hourly Activation Crew (brand ambassadors).
Event Programming and Presentation: Ideate, develop and execute activations, experiences and event presentation elements.
Content Creation: Collaborate with internal teams to curate content for event presentations.
Coordination & Execution: Oversee setup, rehearsal and execution of presentation elements during events.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with event operations and strategy teams, clients and stakeholders to meet activation objectives.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and partners for equipment and services.
Quality Assurance: Review presentation materials and setups to ensure high quality; address issues promptly.
Post-Event Evaluation: Assess effectiveness, gather feedback, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements.
