Jay's Transportation Group Ltd. REGINA is seeking an Experienced Mechanic to perform troubleshooting, diagnostics and maintenance on commercial trucks and trailers in Regina, SK.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, timely repairs and accurate documentation of work orders. Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of experience, a valid Class 5 license (Class 1A a plus), strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience required.
• Valid Class 5 drivers license; Class 1A is an asset.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Experience working with commercial equipment such as trucks and trailers.
• Provide vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Accurate completion of work orders and time cards.
• Schedule and prioritize work needed on equipment.
• Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies.
• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.

EXPERIENCED MECHANIC

LOCATION: REGINA, SK

JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is a subsidiary of The Mullen Group and is one of the largest household moving, storage and freight transportation companies in Saskatchewan. We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province.

Responsibilities

• Experience working with commercial equipment such as trucks and trailers.
• Provide vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Accurate completion of work orders and time cards
• Schedule and prioritize work needed on equipment
• Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies

Shift is Monday to Friday, 8:0 am to 5:00pm

Qualifications
