Job summary

Watermark Beach Resort in Osoyoos, BC, is seeking an experienced kitchen professional to join our culinary team. The role requires 3–5 years in a kitchen, strong prep, cooking skills, and the ability to manage portions and costs.

You will train staff, supervise kitchen helpers, maintain inventory and keep a clean, organized workspace while preparing meals for guests with diverse dietary needs. This is an on-site position at our resort restaurant and banquet facilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a kitchen or culinary role.
• On-site work at the physical location.
• No formal degree required.

Responsibilities

• Determine the size of food portions and costs.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Organize buffets and banquets.
