401 Group of Companies in Barrie is seeking an Automotive Detailer to bring showroom shine to every vehicle, inside and out. You will work in a fast-paced team, focusing on meticulous cleaning, polishing and protective detailing across interiors and exteriors.

This on-site role at 52 King St, Barrie ON, offers Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and compensation of $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Join a growth-oriented employer with Canada-wide brands and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Previous detailing experience.
• Experience with protection products, cut/buff/paint correction is a plus.
• Valid G Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior.
• Clean, protect and preserve interiors and exteriors including engine compartments.
• Determine need for windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze.
• Perform basic maintenance checks and maintain a clean work area.

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8am-5pm

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience

What You Will Be Doing:

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors (i.e., carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e., wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper), as well as cleaning engine compartments

• Determine need for and addas necessarywindshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Maintain a clean and orderlyworkarea throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
• Powerwashthe floor, (to reduce the appearance of dirt) as required
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Work in accordance with daily production schedule
• Support all team members when required

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous detailing experience
• Experience with protection products, cut/buff/paint correction, accessory installation would be definite assets contributing to a higher compensation
• Valid G Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission
• Effective organization and multi-tasking skills with precise attention to detail
