Job summary

401auto is seeking an Automotive Detailer to bring shine to every vehicle, both inside and out, and to help make them showroom-ready. If you love cars and take pride in your work, you will thrive in this hands-on role within a fast-paced team.

Location: 370 Queensway West, Simcoe. Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Compensation: $18.00 per hour. Join a growing Canadian automotive group with a focus on high standards and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive detailing.
• Valid G license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior.
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Determine need for windshield washer fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze.
• Perform basic maintenance checks under the hood and inside/outside the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area with a final daily cleanup.
• Powerwash the floor as required.
• May maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Work in accordance with daily production schedule.
• Support all team members when required.

We're looking for a passionate and detail-obsessed Automotive Detailer to join our dynamic team! In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for making every vehicle look its absolute best - inside and out. Location: 370 Queensway West, Simcoe

Hours: Monday - Friday | 8am-5pm

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors (i.e., carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e., wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper), as well as cleaning engine compartments

• Determine need for and addas necessarywindshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Maintain a clean and orderlyworkarea throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
• Powerwashthe floor, (to reduce the appearance of dirt) as required
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Work in accordance with daily production schedule
• Support all team members when required

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous detailing experience
• Valid G Driver's License and clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission
• Effective organization and multi-tasking skills with precise attention to detail
