Job summary

The 401 Group is seeking an energetic Lot Attendant to keep the car lot organized, presentable, and moving efficiently. You will assist with vehicle prep, movement, and delivery checks in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements include a valid G license, ability to drive manual, and comfort with outdoor work. Competitive hourly wage $18.00-$20.00 in Barrie, ON, with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid G license.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand or using washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and perform end-of-day cleanup.
• Verify receipt of vehicles and park them safely on the lot.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and list missing items on delivery receipts.
• Assign stock numbers and manage keys.
• Move vehicles between dealerships as needed.
• Operate as part of a fast-paced dealership team.

We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our dealership team! In this high-paced, hands-on role, you’ll be the driving force behind our vehicle organization, presentation, and flow—helping keep our lot looking sharp and our operations running smoothly.

Location: 52 King St, Barrie ON (Kia)

Wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Maintain a clean and orderly workarea throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
  

• Verify receipt of cars delivered to dealer and parks cars in the lot in a safe and orderly manner
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice
• Inspect cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice, such as spare tires and radio and stereo equipment
• Record description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt

• Assign stock control numbers to cars, and catalogs and store keys
• Re-park cars, following sales, to maximize the use of space and maintain lot in order
  
• Run errands for the dealership, ie: pick up parts or customers, etc.
  
• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment and vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors (i.e., carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e., wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper), as well as cleaning engine compartments
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
  
• Transfer vehicles from dealership to other dealerships in our Group
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• Valid G Driver’s License
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to drive manual considered an asset
• Must be comfortable working outdoors
