Job summary

You will handle faculty grant and leave applications, prepare appointments for new faculty, conduct elections, and assist in ratification processes while maintaining records and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school plus 1 year post-secondary; 3 years of experience in secretarial work.
• Strong knowledge of office procedures and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Typing 60 wpm with high accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Word, Excel, databases, and web browsers at intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential secretarial, administrative, and research support to the School Director and Department.
• Process faculty grant and leave applications and prepare appointments for new and visiting faculty.
• Conduct elections and assist in ratification processes under the Chair's purview.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with academic policies.
