Job summary

Simon Fraser University seeks an Executive Director for the Office of Institutional Research and Planning. The role directs data analyses, modeling for strategic planning, and informs policy through trends and forecasting to support senior administration.

The position entails designing data collection, analysis, and dissemination of reports to guide enrollment, academic planning and space planning, representing the Vice-President, Academic externally and within the university.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 10+ years in institutional research or a related university setting.
• Strong knowledge of research methodologies, survey techniques and statistics.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning and project management.

Responsibilities

• Direct SFU's Office of Institutional Research and Planning and oversee data analyses.
• Develop policy-supporting analyses, models and institutional reporting.
• Lead enrollment, academic planning, budget and space planning analyses.
