Job summary

Kichton Construction LP seeks experienced Excavator Operators for the Syncrude MLX Project near Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will operate large hydraulic excavators, support mining and reclamation activities, and work rotating shifts in outdoor conditions.

Safety-minded candidates with strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to read site plans and grade stakes, are encouraged to apply. Pre-employment checks and TDG/WHMIS training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators in mining, construction, or oil sands environments.
• Certifications listed in the ad: OSSA/BSO/CSO, H2S Alive, Silica Awareness, TDG, WHMIS.
• Ability to read grade stakes, site plans and excavation layouts.
• Physically capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Mining Excavator Operators - Syncrude MLX Project - 14/7 - Up to $41/hr - Fort McMurray, AB

Kichton Construction LP is seeking experienced Excavator Operators for their Syncrude MLX Project near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic oil sands mining environment with a reputable company. Operators will be responsible for a variety of excavation and material handling tasks, supporting construction and reclamation activities. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, skilled with large hydraulic excavators, and able to work rotating shifts in challenging outdoor conditions.

• $37-$41 per hour based on experience
• Overtime after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
• 9.6% vacation and stat holiday pay on all regular hours
• Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site
