Job summary

Northern College in Timmins is seeking an Invigilator to supervise tests in the Accessibility Centre and ensure policies and procedures are followed with the highest level of integrity.

The successful candidate will liaise with faculty, provide required supports (scribing, assistive technology, room arrangements), and uphold confidentiality while delivering courteous, accurate assistance within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Team player with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise students in the Accessibility Centre during tests;
• Liaise with faculty for testing documents and instructions;
• Ensure the integrity of evaluation;
• Ensure students use only provided examination materials;
• Provide supports and services (scribing/assistive technology/room requirements) as needed;
• Maintain confidentiality of students.
