Store - TOR-RICHMOND HILL, ON

Responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events such as kids birthday parties within a Michaels store to ensure a fun and engaging experience.
2. Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and finding products, and ensure a quick checkout process.
3. Complete operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and store recovery to uphold brand standards.
4. Engage with clients of all ages, create a fun environment, and demonstrate craft projects, face painting, and activities.
5. Manage event logistics, communicate with clients and team members, and adapt plans based on feedback.
6. Ensure client satisfaction, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and manage setup and cleanup of events.

Qualifications and Skills

• Energetic, enthusiastic, with excellent people skills and experience working with children’s events.
• Strong communication, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Retail or customer service experience required.

Physical and Work Environment

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform store tasks including cleaning and stock management.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings in a climate-controlled retail setting.
