Job summary

St. Marys Golf & Country Club is seeking an Event Experience Specialist to own the event sales pipeline and guide clients from inquiry to post-event debrief. This role drives revenue across weddings, stay & plays, golf tournaments, and other events, ensuring a smooth handoff to Operations for flawless execution.

The position is a full-time, temporary 15-month contract with a September 2026 start and December 2027 end date, offering a weekday-evening-weekend schedule based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven sales or event management experience.
• Completion of post-secondary education in hospitality, event management, or business.

Responsibilities

• Lead conversion and pipeline management, including venue tours and consultations.
• Create tailored quotes, negotiate terms, and secure contracts to meet revenue targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell to maximize contract value (menu upgrades, dining, lodging).
• Serve as the primary client contact, guiding wedding/event planning and design meetings.
