Job summary

Carefor Health & Community Services is seeking a Personal/Home Support Worker to provide in-home personal support and homemaking services in Eastern Ontario. The role involves night shifts (2300-0700) for a temporary 3-month term with potential extension, at 0.4 FTE.

Responsibilities include daily living activities, meal prep, light cleaning, and documentation of care plans. Requires relevant PSW certification and clear checks; HOOPP pension and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Assisting with activities of daily living (eating, dressing, bathing)
• Documentation of client plans and changes to routines
• Perform light cleaning and laundering
• Provide respite and basic meal prep
• Support cognitive, social and compassionate needs
• Adhere to health, safety and Carefor policies

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities of daily living (eating, dressing, transferring, grooming, bathing)
• Provide laundering of clothes and linens
• Provide light cleaning
• Provide respite care
• Provide light meal preparation
• Provide cognitive, social, and compassionate support
• Document reports for clients on their care plan and changes
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor in line with policy
