Job summary

Connective Support Society is seeking a dedicated Residential Support role to provide casework and clinical support for residents across Connective’s programs in British Columbia. You will help implement care plans, monitor progress, and liaise with health and psychiatric services to ensure safety and well-being.

Role emphasizes on-site advocacy, life skills coaching, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or diploma in a mental health related field is expected.
• Experience handling crisis situations and applying psycho-social rehabilitation concepts is preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse resident population and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients to develop care plans and background information.
• Serve as a primary or key worker under supervision of the Program Manager.
• Assist with the implementation of care plans and monitor progress.
• Provide emotional support and life skills guidance to residents.
• Coordinate with health and psychiatric services as needed.
• Maintain accurate case notes, care plans, and reports.
