Dynacare is seeking a Lab Assistant in Brampton, Ontario for on-site, full-time work with evening shifts. The role involves processing specimens, accurate data entry, and maintaining quality control to support downstream healthcare solutions.

Preferred MLPAO/CSMLS certification is recommended. The position ends Oct 31, 2027, with a pay range of 19.75–23.50 per hour and 100% on-site work.

Formación

• Completion of secondary-school level education and a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant training program.
• Experience providing exceptional customer-focused service in a demanding environment.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize and collaborate in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) at an intermediate level.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and ability to apply that knowledge to troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Follows established protocol(s) in Specimen Processing.
• Ensures that all samples are properly identified, data entered, and labeled.
• Follows established protocol(s) for the handling of unsuitable samples.
• Ensures all client inquiries and problems are handled in a courteous and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
