Job summary

Langdon Hall in Ontario is hiring for a full-time Evening House Porter. You will deliver linens, supplies, and amenities; assist with guest room setup; and maintain clean linen closets, storage and public spaces while upholding Langdon Hall’s standards. Evening shifts 4:00 PM–10:00 PM, plus weekends and holidays. Start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Availability for full-time evening shifts 4:00 PM–10:00 PM and weekends.
• Positive, adaptable attitude and commitment to hospitality.
• Previous housekeeping or guest service experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver linens, amenities, and supplies to housekeeping and guest areas.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks including high-level dusting and waste removal.
• Assist with guest room setup, stocking closets, and delivering requested items promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets, storage rooms, and service areas.
• Report maintenance concerns and lost and found items; communicate with departments.
• Provide friendly, professional guest service while upholding Langdon Hall’s standards.

About the Role

We are currently hiring for the position of full time Evening House Porter. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting housekeeping operations by delivering linens, amenities, and supplies, managing linen flow, and keeping service areas fully stocked and organized.
• Performing cleaning and maintenance tasks, including high-level dusting, waste removal, assisting with bed stripping, and maintaining clean, clutter-free spaces.
• Assisting with guest room setup and requests by stocking closets, setting up extra beds, reconfiguring rooms, and delivering requested items promptly.
• Maintaining clean and organized linen closets, storage rooms, housekeeping service areas, and public spaces.
• Following safe working practices, reporting maintenance concerns and lost and found items, and communicating important information to the appropriate departments.
• Providing friendly and professional guest service while maintaining a polished appearance and representing Langdon Hall’s standards.

Pay & Schedule

• Wage: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: Full Time; evening shifts between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with weekend and holiday availability required.
• Start Date: As soon as possible
