Job summary

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the welcoming face at the Jim Pattison Subaru Coquitlam dealership. This part-time, permanent position offers 10 hours per week, with Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, reporting to the Office Manager.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering calls, serving customers in the lounge, handling payments, supporting inventory activities, booking service appointments, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is an asset.
• Experience in the automotive industry and with CDK or One-Eighty is a strong asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors entering the showroom, promptly answer inquiries, and introduce visitors to their host
• Promptly and professionally answer incoming calls on a multiline phone system
• Welcome and serve customers in the lounge areas
• Maintain a tidy workspace and stocked customer lounge (coffee station, kids station)
• Handle and process payments from customers
• Stock in vehicles, and assist the Sales Dept with vehicle inventory control
• Book service appointments in the software system
• Distribute incoming mail
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
• Participate in maintaining a supportive and fun working environment
• Other administrative duties as assigned
