Jim Pattison Subaru Victoria is hiring a Car Wash Attendant to join our service team in Victoria, BC. This full-time position (40 hours per week) keeps customer vehicles clean and presentable, ensuring they’re ready for the road when they leave the dealership.

No prior automotive experience is required; a valid BC driver’s license, reliability, and a friendly, detail-oriented mindset are valued. You’ll work outdoors in varied weather and contribute to a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

Jim Pattison Subaru Victoria is looking for a Car Wash Attendant to join our Service Team. In this role, you'll help make sure our customers' vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready to hit the road when they leave our dealership.

This is a hands-on position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, being part of a team, and staying busy. No previous automotive experience is required - this is also a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and build a career in the automotive industry.

Schedule : This is a full-time, permanentrole of 40hours per week.

Pay Range : $18.50 per hour

A Day in the Life at Subaru

• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care
• Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
• Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• This is a physically active role and requires the following:
  • Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
  • Walking and/or standing for long periods
  • Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
  • Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed
