EllisDon is seeking an Estimator to lead bid work for ICI projects. You will assemble accurate estimates for hard-bid, CM and design-build work, organize sub-trade quotes, and support buy-out processes while monitoring project risks and costs.

Your role requires experience with P3 and various contracting methods, strong teamwork under deadlines, and adherence to EllisDon procedures. Reliability clearance eligibility is required.

Formación

• Construction-related degree/diploma required; minimum 5 years of estimating ICI projects.
• Ability to use AutoCAD is an asset.
• Working knowledge of estimating strategies, techniques and construction contracts.
• Estimating experience in P3, Design Build, Design Build Facilities Management, Lump Sum, and Construction Management contracts.
• Ability to work effectively in time-sensitive situations within a team; ability to work autonomously and follow EllisDon procedures.
• Must be eligible for Reliability Clearance.

You as an Estimator will:

• Confidently lead a team through the completion of a bid process under pressure while building strong relationships with sub-trades
• Assemble accurate, timely and well organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management and design-build
• Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out process
• Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub-trades for future opportunities
• Distribute sub-trade quotes to personnel, flagging areas of concern and coordinating with management to accommodate risk within the bid price
• Maintain databases, including labour rates, material pricing and project costs, for future reference

Is this the right role for you?

• You have a construction-related degree/diploma and a minimum of 5 yeasr of estimating ICI projects
• Ability to use AutoCad is an asset
• You have a working knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts
• Estimating experience in P3, Design Build, Design Build Facilities Management, Lump Sum, and Construction Management contracts is essential
• You have the ability to work effectively and accurately in time-sensitive situations within a team
• Be comfortable working autonomously, while providing updates when needed, and following EllisDon procedures at all times
• Must be eligible for Reliability Clearance

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000
