  • Coordinate and provide technical writing for environmental assessments and regulatory filings, including the integration of socio-economic components and Indigenous knowledge and values.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Indigenous communities, including Elders, knowledge holders, and leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop engagement strategies that support reconciliation and reflect community priorities.
  • Oversee the preparation of environmental management plans that incorporate input from Indigenous partners and reflect regulatory requirements.

We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.

Here's what you'll need

  • B.Sc. (required) or M.Sc. (preferred) in a Natural Resources-related field (e.g., biology, ecology, forestry, geography).
  • Demonstrated experience in Indigenous engagement, consultation, or collaboration in Canada.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and respectfully about Indigenous perspectives.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with experience working on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a respectful, inclusive approach to engagement with diverse communities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of environmental assessment and regulatory systems in Canada.
