A leading company in environmental health and safety is seeking a full-time EHS Manager for its Kingsville, Ontario facility. The role involves reinforcing safety culture, designing comprehensive EHS programs, and ensuring alignment with legislative standards. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 5 years of related experience, ideally in agriculture or manufacturing, combined with a strong commitment to fostering safe and sustainable work environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related EHS experience, preferably in agriculture or manufacturing.
• Joint Health & Safety Certification.
• Strong understanding of OHSA and regulations.

We're hiring for a full time Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager at our facility in Kingsville!

• Salary is negotiable based on experience
• Full time, Monday - Friday (40 hrs / week minimum)
• Occasional overtime as required

Responsibilities :

• Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture across all company operations
• Design, implement and evaluate EHS programs and training initiatives across Canada and the US
• Provide strategic leadership to the EHS team, ensuring alignment with legislation and company standards
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections and internal audits
• Lead ESG related environmental initiatives and support corporate sustainability efforts

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of related EHS experience, preferably in agriculture or manufacturing
• Joint Health & Safety Certification
• Strong understanding of OHSA and regulations
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office
