Position Overview

Compugen is seeking an Information Security Consultant for a 2-month contract working remotely. Candidates must currently reside within Canada and be available to work CT hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and implement tailored security solutions to meet client needs, safeguarding sensitive information with professionalism.
• Continuously assess potential threats across platforms such as email systems, databases, and websites.
• Maintain the integrity of client information by providing regular updates and detailed reports on security efforts and findings.
• Manage and implement encryption tools within organizations to protect data and reduce breach risks.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in Zero Trust architecture, focusing on identity-centric access control, micro-segmentation, continuous trust validation, and context-aware policy enforcement.
• Experience applying security frameworks like CIS Controls and NIST SP 800-207 to design and implement security architectures.
• Ability to develop security roadmaps and architectural plans for large-scale environments.
• Proficiency in producing security architecture documentation, including threat models and control mapping.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with leadership and technical teams.
• Skill in evaluating and resolving complex architectural trade-offs in evolving scenarios.
