Operating since 2004, Clear is proud to offer multiple environmental services which span the full lifecycle of oil and gas and commercial assets.

Position Overview and Responsibilities

Clear is looking to add Environmental Field Technicians(Contract) to our team.The position is field-based at project locations throughout Northern Alberta. Potential candidates should be based-in the Grande Prairie area, or be willing to relocate

Primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, and execute field services, including: Drilling Waste Management, Water Resource Management, Environmental Site Assessments, Waterbody and Wetland Assessments, Environmental Monitoring, Spill Response, etc.

Qualification Requirements

• Post-secondary education in related environmental discipline is considered an asset.
• Previous experience with Drilling Waste Management in upstream oil and gas operations, or related discipline.
• Candidates must have a valid Drivers Licence and safety/competency certifications, including: Standard First Aid, CPR, H2S Alive, and Common Safety Orientation ("CSO").
• Strong organizational capability and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Willing to work away from home, and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• The contractor will require their own truck, insurances, and Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE").
