Job summary

Murphy in Canada is seeking an Environmental Advisor to drive best practices in health, safety, environment and sustainability on major projects. You will work with SHES to inspect sites, ensure compliance, and lead investigations when incidents occur.

You will collate data, identify trends, and support project teams in implementing environmental controls, licenses, and pollution prevention measures across our Canada portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Environmental Advisory role.
• Working knowledge of environmental law in construction.
• Understanding of practical environmental risk mitigation on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote best practice in environmental matters with SHES.
• Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with policy and law.
• Conduct incident investigations and recommend improvements.
• Compile environmental statistics for reporting to SHES.
• Identify trends and areas for improvement in environmental data.
• Advise project teams on managing environmental responsibilities.
