Job summary

College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking an IT Support Coordinator to be the first point of contact for technology issues and to support staff, Council members and external providers.

In an entry-level role, you will triage hardware, software and connectivity problems, manage user accounts, maintain asset inventories, and assist with AV setups for meetings, while working with Corporate Services to improve the technology environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on IT support or coordinator experience.
• Experience supporting Windows devices and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Familiarity with IT asset management and software/license tracking.
• Strong troubleshooting and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End-User Support & Troubleshooting: provide day-to-day tech support across devices and Microsoft 365.
• Onboarding, Accounts & Access: manage setup, logins and equipment logistics.
• Documentation & Vendor Coordination: track requests and coordinate with vendors.
• IT Asset & Software License Management: oversee assets, licenses and renewals.
• Meeting Room & AV Support: ensure reliable room tech for meetings.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: streamline processes with stakeholders.
