Job summary

Alquemy Search & Consulting in Vancouver is seeking an Intermediate UX Designer for a 6-month contract on-site. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to craft scalable, user-centered enterprise experiences.

You will contribute to end-to-end design, transform complex requirements into intuitive interfaces, and work within design systems and Agile teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in UX, Product Design, Interaction Design, or related discipline.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking and shipped products.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and user-centered design principles.
• Ability to communicate design rationale clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
• Translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Design and refine experiences for web and mobile enterprise applications.
• Simplify complex workflows and information-rich interfaces into intuitive and efficient user experiences.
• Participate in design critiques and collaborate with other designers to maintain quality and consistency.
• Work within established design systems and contribute to reusable components and patterns.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure design quality throughout implementation.
• Incorporate user feedback, research findings, and analytics into design decisions.
• Advocate for usability, accessibility, and user-centered design best practices.
• Support product delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.
