Job description

Our client, a well-established manufacturer and distributor in the Lower Mainland, BC, is modernizing the enterprise systems that support a large-scale production, warehousing, and supply chain operation. They are building a new Application Services team to take full ownership of those business-critical applications, and are seeking an ERP Application Services Analyst as a foundational hire on that team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve application incidents, performance problems, and integration issues across business-critical enterprise systems, restoring service efficiently and documenting what happened.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and work with developers, infrastructure, database teams, and vendors on permanent fixes.
  • Implement approved configuration changes and minor functional enhancements under Product Owner guidance, including report updates, workflow adjustments, and low-complexity feature changes.
  • Test changes in non-production environments and support user acceptance testing led by the Product Owner or business stakeholders.
  • Monitor application health, interfaces, and scheduled jobs; resolve failed jobs and stuck transactions, and handle routine maintenance such as data clean-up and basic performance tuning.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for business users on system behaviour, errors, and configuration, translating technical detail into clear explanations.
  • Provide structured input to the Product Owner on recurring pain points and enhancement opportunities, drawing on support data and system behaviour.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and known-issue records, and share knowledge with the Service Desk to improve first-call resolution.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • 5+ years supporting enterprise applications in a production environment, with strong working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP configuration, customization, and integration, not just front-line ticket triage.
  • Solid SQL skills for queries, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • A track record of owning complex, ambiguous tickets end to end and seeing them through to resolution.
  • Background in manufacturing, logistics, shipping, or supply chain environments; exposure to warehouse management systems is a strong asset.
  • SysPro experience is highly valued, as is familiarity with related reporting and data tooling.
  • Requirements gathering experience and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to shape solutions.
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience, paired with strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

The estimated base pay rate for this position is CAD $65,500 to CAD $82,000 per year as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
