Job summary

Salesforce Partner Canada seeks an Account Executive to sell Salesforce Core to Alberta government agencies and ministries. You will build relationships, develop a growth plan, and collaborate with internal teams and partners to deliver tailored solutions that meet public sector needs.

You will drive pipeline, educate clients on Salesforce Core products, and pursue opportunities across Alberta, with travel as required and a focus on delivering citizen and employee outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full cycle Enterprise software or technology sales experience.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required, evaluated on values and behaviors.
• Proven track record in account management, preferably in Canadian Public Sector.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client locations across Alberta as required.
• Active or eligible for a Government of Alberta security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain enduring relationships within Alberta Provincial Government agencies / ministries / corporations.
• Develop and execute a territory plan designed for growth including account engagement activities.
• Build a business pipeline through deep team collaboration to execute on client and territory specific activities.
• Continual education on Salesforce Core products and industry trends and regulations.
• Educate clients on how Salesforce Core solutions enable positive citizen and employee outcomes.
• Develop a point-of-view within account teams and our managed partners.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and expand Salesforce Core services.
• Address and resolve client issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to devise solutions for complex challenges.
• Engage proactively with Salesforce partner ecosystem to bring solutions to market.
• Provide regular progress updates to management regarding activity, pipeline, pursuits, etc.
