Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Executive for Data solutions to sell into Canadian Federal Government agencies in Ottawa. You will build relationships, develop a growth plan, and work with partners to deliver data-centric Salesforce offerings that support mission-critical objectives.

The role requires extensive, proven enterprise software sales experience in Canada, plus the ability to articulate complex data concepts to diverse stakeholders and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-cycle enterprise software or technology sales experience.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven track record in account management, preferably within the Canadian Public Sector.
• Experience selling data-centric solutions (data integration, analytics, governance, or MDM).
• Ability to articulate technical data concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as required.
• Active or eligible for Government of Canada security clearance may be required depending on the account.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships within Canadian Federal Government agencies.
• Develop and execute on a territory plan designed for growth including account engagement activities.
• Build a business pipeline through cross-team collaboration to execute on client and territory activities.
• Continual education on Salesforce Data products and industry trends, government regulations, and offerings.
• Educate clients on how Salesforce Data solutions enable positive outcomes.
• Develop a point-of-view within account teams and managed partners.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and expand Salesforce Data services.
• Address and resolve client issues promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to devise data-challenges solutions.
• Engage with Salesforce partner ecosystem to bring data solutions to market.
• Operate within the Salesforce High Performance Culture to drive growth.
• Provide regular progress updates to management on activity, pipeline, and pursuits.
