Engineering Student

Location – Pickering, ON

This position is for a student co-op. Reporting to the engineering division, the student will support various engineering projects and assist in engineering functional and project management tasks as needed. The role provides learning opportunities in technical, engineering interfaces, and management aspects within the nuclear industry through training, mentoring, and on-the-job experiences.

Your role within the team:

• Support Engineers, Discipline Leads, and Engineering Managers in daily engineering activities and coordination.
• Assist in developing and assembling engineering, physics, and math deliverables for nuclear and conventional systems.
• Ensure work delivery aligns with AtkinsRéalis Inc. / Candu Energy Quality Assurance Programs and project requirements.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and other project sectors (e.g., Document Control, Project Management, field teams).
• Collaborate with the nuclear team to facilitate workflow, document reviews, and RFI correspondence.
• Participate in technical and project coordination meetings.
• Work effectively in a team-oriented environment, promoting a positive work culture.

• Willing to travel to domestic sites if required.
• Can obtain Security Clearance.
