We are seeking Engineering Students for our Toronto District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, who are available for 4-month or 8-month internships starting September 2025.

As an Engineering Student, depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination
• Coordinating drawings
• Coordinating work-specific scope / trades
• Conducting trade quote reviews – verify material quantities, verify hours, verify rates
• Participating in project meetings
• Conducting deficiency walks
• Inputting / Updating deficiency logs
• Issuing warranties
• Taking / Coordinating progress photos
• Updating field drawings
• Producing as-built drawings
• Field Coordination
• Performing quantity takeoffs
• Coordinating sub-trade work
• Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings
• Supervising sub-trade work
• Setting up / Maintaining record keeping
• Layout site lines and grades using total station
• Scheduling
• Updating project schedules
• Creating manual schedules
• Creating and updating schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software
• Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades
• Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
• Monitoring workforce productivity

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting is required.
