About the job:

Working at our Woobridge, ON Pipe manufacturing Plant, the engineering co-op allows students exposure to all aspects of process engineering and plant operations.

  • Work closely with Maintenance Superintendent, Operations Manager, and Process Engineer on various design and operation improvement projects.
  • Perform theoretical analysis on various production scenarios.
  • Provide recommendations for the creation and approval of SOPs.
  • Provide recommendations on state-of-the-art extrusion and automation technology based on own research.
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement teams.
  • Design plant layouts, tooling drawings, and critical spare part drawings through reverse engineering.
  • Enter plant maintenance data into computerized Maintenance Management Software MP2.
  • Must be a 3rd Year engineering student, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Transcript must be included with all resume submissions.
