We’re on the lookout for students to join our teams in multiple office locations – Collingwood, Guelph, Milton, and Toronto for a fall start date of September 2025. We are open to 4 month work terms or longer.

We are looking for Civil Engineering students who have a keen interest in gaining professional experience in a consulting engineering environment by contributing to multi-disciplinary projects in meaningful ways.

A Day in the Life:
- Assist with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, design, and reports for stormwater management projects using Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, SWMHYMO, Flowmaster, and PCSWMM.
- Conduct natural hazards assessments including floodplain and erosion analysis using HEC-RAS.
- Assist with detailed servicing design for sewers, watermains and grading using AutoCAD Civil3D and PCSWMM.
- Perform onsite field reviews for municipal servicing projects.
- Provide quantities (for example, take-offs) for construction contract documents and cost estimates.
- Assist with the preparation of figures and drawings, such as civil site servicing plans, pre and post-development drainage plans, grading plans, stormwater management facility plans, erosion and sediment controls plans using AutoCAD.
- Assist with editing and finalizing technical reports and design briefs.
What you bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering University program.
- Have a valid Class G driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle – depending on office location you are applying for.
- Willing to travel for site inspections and field work on occasion.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, team environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Motivated to continue to learn and improve existing knowledge base and skillsets.
