Engineering Project Coordinator (18-month term)

Under general direction, provides technical expertise to projects by coordinating or performing a variety of technical duties requiring professional-level technical knowledge and familiarity with engineering or related project work, such as design, permitting, production, reporting, and documentation, as required by specific position.

Note: The Technical Coordinator job family was created for individuals who may not have the typical technical degree for their area of practice but are able to perform engineering or related technical work at a professional level.

How will you contribute to the team? Under minimal direction, performs several of the following duties, depending on the program/project and in accordance with established standards and applicable regulatory policies:

• Coordinates and oversees project deliverable production, documentation, and transmittal.
• Interprets plans & schedules to anticipate conflicts and conducts meetings with affected parties.
• Participates in the preparation of contracts, fee proposals, scopes of work, and invoices.
• Prepares project proposals, presentations, and related marketing materials and publications.
• Coordinates and tracks project submittals, actions, and correspondence.
• Conducts analyses and prepares technical studies and reports.
• Reviews and edits reports and provides technical writing support. Coordinates the work of consultants or other employees involved in project development activities.
• Coordinates and oversees design production in accordance with specifications and regulatory policies.
• Provides supervision and coordination of CAD work and other software programs.
• Attends conferences and meetings with clients and regulatory agencies to ascertain requirements and develop business strategies.
• Maintains awareness of regulatory policies, organizes guidelines for compliance, and keeps personnel informed of regulatory changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What will you contribute?

• Engineering degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, with continued education through workshops, seminars, and courses in engineering or related technical activities, familiar with computer programs and permitting processes.
• Experience with nuclear project preparation and delivery.
• Familiarity with codes and standards related to Nuclear Project deliverables.
• Typically 5-10 years of relevant experience.
