Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. in Red Deer, Alberta is seeking an Engineering Co-op Student to join the Maintenance Team. You will work on projects and support daily maintenance work, starting in the January term.

This entry-level role offers close supervision with increasing responsibility as the term progresses. You will collaborate with engineering and maintenance professionals, interpret basic drawings, and apply problem-solving skills.

• Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Materials preferred).
• Complete first year of engineering program.
• Self-starter with leadership potential.
• Past experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong academic performance demonstrating drive.
• Enrolled in Coop degree program.
• Able to interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

The Engineering Co-op Student will work with the Maintenance Team at our Red Deer facility. This position will begin in the January term. As a member of the Maintenance Team, they will participate in projects and support the work of the department. The role will provide entry-level work under close supervision to start, with tasks increasing in complexity/responsibility as the term goes on.
