Job description

Join to apply for the Engine Field Service Technician role at Cummins India.

We are looking for a talented local Field Service Technician to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.

About the Role:

• Establish and develop productive customer relations and ensure prompt attention to customer needs.
• Diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer sites using specialized tools and documented procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on engines and related components in the field.
• Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisors.
• Coach and develop technicians and apprentices; may provide work direction.
• Complete required documentation and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Maintain service vehicle and tools; adhere to safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications:

• 310T/421A Red Seal Endorsement is mandatory.
• Valid local driver’s license; preferred driving permit.
• Experience with Transit/Automotive, On-highway, Agricultural, Marine, and Industrial engines.
• Experience with high Horsepower engines (19L and above).
• Customer service experience; ability to provide technical advice and coaching.

Additional Details:

• Union environment, working hours 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
• Work mainly in the GTA area.
• Benefits start day 1, including bonuses, allowances, and health benefits.

Compensation: Base salary $42.88 - $47.20 per hour, plus benefits and incentives.
