Job summary

Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) seeks an Extended Day Program Support Worker to supervise children aged 4–12 in before and after school programs. You will provide engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development and work closely with families and staff.

Candidates must hold a diploma in Child and Youth Developmental Service Worker or related field, have experience with Kindergarten or School Age children, and possess valid First Aid and CPR.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Child and Youth Developmental Service Worker or Recreation & Leisure programs.
• Experience working with Kindergarten and/or School Age children.
• Valid First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide active and engaged supervision to children aged 4–12 in before/after school programs.
• Provide development opportunities supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
• Nurture and support children and their families.
• Provide support to the EDP program when children have identified needs requiring additional support.
